Falco Energy is a privately held company based in Shreveport, Louisiana. We provide marketing, gauging, and trucking services to crude oil refiners and producers. Our primary objectives are to offer greater flexibility and efficiency to our clients while providing a safe, reliable, and timely source of transportation. We constantly strive to operate at a competitive market price and to enhance our business processes to ensure operational efficiency and flexibility. We actively seek to create business development opportunities involving trucks, pipelines, barge, rail, and storage.

The Falco Flag and What It Means to Us

The Falco Flag continues to be more than a company logo. The development of the current flag represents the evolution of an industry; while the familiarity of the traditional symbol stands as a reminder of the superior level of service provided where it flies.

Yellow Section

The yellow in the Falco Flag represents Falco, Inc. Originally organized in the 1940’s by the late J.E. Fowler, Jr. Falco was later incorporated in 1957. Clair S. Smith, Jr. was employed by Falco in the mid 1970s where he became President.

Blue Section

The blue in the Falco Flag represents P&O Falco. Falco, Inc. was sold to Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company of London and adopted the name P&O Falco. Clair S. Smith, Jr. became CEO and President of P&O Falco. P&O Falco later became UPG Falco which later became Enron Oil Trading & Transportation (EOTT). EOTT later merged with several other companies to finally become Plains All American Pipeline Company.

Orange Section

The orange in the Falco Flag represents Falco S&D. Clair S. Smith, Jr. and Clair Scott Smith then formed Falco S&D in the late 1980s with the Davison family of Ruston, Louisiana.

White Section

The white in the Falco Flag represents Falco Energy Transportation, LLC. Clair Scott Smith formed Falco Energy Transportation, LLC in 2007.
